Chefs Ranju and Sita offer high-quality, fresh and authentic Nepali cuisine, specializing in Momos (Nepali dumplings).

Friends Chef Ranju and Chef Sita are “Sikkim Momo.” They hail from the state of Sikkim which is on the northeastern side of India and is bordered by Bhutan, Tibet, and Nepal. It is surrounded by hills, forests, and shimmering mountains.

At a young age, they came to the United States to seek and achieve a better and brighter life. They have always been passionate about cooking and owning a food business. As the oldest child, Chef Ranju learned to cook at only six years old. Cooking for family and others gives her the utmost pleasure. Chef Sita’s motto is, “give my customers the best food experience.” Ranju and Sita want to introduce Salt Lake City to their traditional Sikkimese cuisine that is fresh, healthy, and at a fair price!

“We are two Sikkimese ladies serving up the best Sikkimese Soul food around. Try our delicious Momos (dumplings) with all of our tasty dipping sauces or dive into one of our mouth watering Curries!”

    Chickpeas, cauliflower, carrots, bell pepper and potatoes simmered in a traditional curry with roasted spices and fresh ingredients. Served with fragrant, long grain basmati rice. (Vegan, dairy free, gluten free)

  2. Chicken Coconut Curry:

    Chicken coconut curry with onion, ginger, garlic, tomato, cumin seed, coriander seed, cilantro and salt. Served with fragrant, long grain basmati rice. (Halal, dairy free, gluten free)

Appetizers:

  1. Chicken Momos (5pc):

    Hand-ground halal chicken mixed with onion, fresh ginger, oregano, and spices; wrapped and steamed until savory and tender. Served with your choice of sesame or cilantro dipping sauce. (Halal, contains gluten, dipping sauce contains dairy)

  2. Vegetable Momos (5pc):

    Diced cabbage, carrots, onion, and Asian squash mixed with fresh ginger and a blend of spices; wrapped and steamed until savory and tender. Served with your choice of sesame or cilantro dipping sauce. (Vegetarian, contains gluten, contains coconut oil, dipping sauce contains dairy)

  1. Fresh Green Side Salad:

    A fresh green side salad with lettuce, chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, and dressed in a homemade vinaigrette. (Vegan, dairy free, gluten free)

  1. Gajar ka Halwa (6oz):

    Fresh carrot and coconut cooked with butter and sugar, then mixed with whole milk, cashews, cardamom, clove, and cinnamon; served warm. (Vegetarian, contains cashews, contains dairy, gluten free)

Beverage:

Masala Chai (12oz):

Homemade chai made from whole milk, cinnamon, sugar, cloves, ginger, and black pepper; served hot. (Vegetarian, contains dairy, gluten free)

Dessert:

  1. Kheer Rice Pudding (6oz):

    Made from a high quality sticky rice, this rice pudding is simmered in whole milk until milky, sweet, and tender. Cooked with raisins, cashews, and seasoned with cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves. Served chilled. (Vegetarian, contains cashews, contains dairy, gluten free)

2. Fall Vegetable Yellow Curry, 16oz | Vegan, dairy free, gluten free

Homemade blend of spices and a handmade yellow curry paste simmered with green lentils, roasted cauliflower, carrots, onions, and potatoes. Served with long grain basmati rice.

Appetizers:

1. Pork Momos, 4pc | Contains gluten, dairy free, soy free

Minced pork seasoned with onions, ginger, garlic, cumin seeds, turmeric, salt, and olive oil. Carefully wrapped and steamed until savory and tender.

2. Vegetable Momos, 4pc | Vegetarian, contains gluten, dairy free, soy free

Diced vegetables including carrots, cabbage, onions, ginger, and seasoned with cumin, coriander seed, turmeric, and coconut oil. Carefully wrapped and steamed until tender.
