Noor Al Sham is a catering company specializing in Syrian cuisine. Bringing Damascus to Utah, one bite at a time. Offering a wide variety of Syrian foods for all your catering needs.

Originally from Syria, Chef Nour Abdul-Bari came to Utah in 2015 from Egypt. He learned to cook in Syria and became a chef when he was just 16 years old.

Nour wanted to start his own business to make life better for his family. He specializes in shawarma and barbecue and also pickles his own vegetables.

In addition to his catering business, Noor al Sham, Nour has also started a non-profit that helps newly arrived Syrians adjust to life in Salt Lake City. He hopes to open a small restaurant.

Chef Nour strives to give his customers a great experience with delicious and beautiful food, a friendly personality, and exceptional hospitality!

Spice Kitchen Incubator is excited to partner with Chef Nour of Noor al Sham to offer a new, unique Spice-to-Go menu beginning on Thursday, September 16th as part of Welcoming Week and to kick off a new and improved Spice-to-Go service!

Noor al Sham Omnivore or Vegetarian Dinner Combination Meal

Each combo comes with the following options, serves 1 individual.

Omnivore Entrée: white basmati rice, peas and carrots with tender chicken breast and cucumber yogurt sauce or a side of pickled veggies. *Halal, dairy free (optional), gluten free

Vegetarian Entrée: white basmati rice, peas and carrots with beans in red sauce and mixed pickled veggies on the side. *Dairy free (optional), gluten free

Each entrée order comes with hummus, baba ghanoush, pita bread, pistachio baklava and a yogurt drink.

Each entrée order also comes with your choice of a side of cucumbers & yogurt sauce OR dairy free pickled vegetables!

Appetizer: Baba Ghanoush 5oz.: Roasted & mashed eggplant, finely diced onions and tomatoes, olive oil, lemon juice, a mix of seasonings, and tahini. A perfect dip for a side order of pita bread. *Vegan, dairy free, gluten free.

Appetizer: Hummus, 5oz.: Hummus made of chickpeas & garbanzo beans, blended until smooth with tahini sauce. Goes great with Noor al Sham's pita bread. *Vegan, dairy free, gluten free, contains sesame

Appetizer: Pita Bread, 1pc: An order of leavened flat bread baked in the oven until light, fluffy, and golden brown. Perfect for dipping in Noor al Sham's homemade hummus or baba ghanoush! *Vegetarian, contains gluten, and dairy.

Dessert: Pistachio Baklava, 2pc: Pistachios and a lemon simple syrup layered between flaky sheets of phyllo dough. Baked in the oven until golden brown and crisp. Drizzled a second time with simple syrup. *Vegetarian, dairy free, contains wheat & pistachios.

Beverage: Yogurt Drink: A refreshing beverage for the end of summer; a blend of yogurt, whole milk, lemon, and sweetener. *Vegetarian, contains dairy.
