Halab’s Jasmine Kitchen offers authentic Syrian dishes coming from years of creating unique spice mixes and marinades.

Ibrahim made his way around his family kitchen as a child and began  experimenting with different recipes. Upon moving to Utah in 2016,  Ibrahim and his wife Rawiya decided that owning their own food business would be a great opportunity in their new home. 

Halab’s Jasmine Kitchen is now also offering Fresh ‘n’ Fried.

Entrées:

  1. Falafel Wrap (12oz)

    Four pieces of falafel, along with tomatoes, hummus, and pickles, wrapped in Arabic bread. Served with a side of fattoush and tahini. (Vegetarian and dairy free; contains gluten and sesame)

  2. Chicken Kebsah (12oz)

    Chicken breast simmered in a tomato sauce spiced with kebsah--a blend of black pepper, cloves, cardamom, saffron, cinnamon, bay leaves and nutmeg--and potatoes, carrots and onions and served with a colorful saffron rice. (Contains nuts, dairy free, gluten free)

Appetizers:

  1. Vegetable Sambusa (3pc):

    Diced vegetables in a fried pastry dough. Served with toum, garlic sauce, and a small portion of fattoush. (Vegetarian, contains wheat, dairy free)

  2. Chicken Sambusa (3pc):

    Shredded chicken breast in a fried pastry dough. Served with toum, garlic sauce, and a small portion of fattoush. (Contains wheat, dairy free)

Dessert:

Baklava (3pc):

Layers of flaky dough filled with chopped walnuts and cinnamon, glazed with a lemon-accented simple sweet syrup. (Vegetarian, contains nuts, contains gluten, dairy free)

Beverages:

Hot Cardamom Arabic Tea (12oz):

Black tea with cardamom (Vegan, contains caffeine, dairy free, gluten free)

Romaine lettuce, red and green cabbage, and tomatoes tossed in a pomegranate molasses vinaigrette, topped with crunchy pita chips. (Vegetarian, dairy free, contains gluten)

  3. Falafel Plate | Ten bite-sized falafel patties made from chickpeas and seasoned with myriad of spices including coriander, paprika, and garlic, fried until crispy and served with homemade tahini sauce and hummus.

  2. Vegetarian Entrée - Batata Harra | roasted potatoes with a spicy seasoning blend, garlic and herbs, with a crisp outer layer and a fluffy, savory middle. Served with fattoosh salad

Tabbouleh - Finely chopped herbs, tomato, onion, and bulgar seasoned with a lemon dressing
